CAMBODIA TREKKING - KAYAKING AND ANGKOR TRIP





Day 1: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor Trips: Arrival – Phnom Penh (-/-/-)Phnom penh capital in Cambodia

Arrive in Phnom Penh and enjoy a relaxing evening by the riverside. You will be picked up by taxi from the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Phnom Penh – City Tour (B/-/-)

Enjoy a private tour of Phnom Penh by tuk-tuk, visiting Phnom Penh's historic Wat Phnom Temple, Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeng Ek Killing Fields outside of Phnom Penh or other sites if requested. This tour is entirely private and can begin and end at your leisure.

Day 3: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Phnom Penh – Ratanakiri

Depart Phnom Penh by private car to Banlung, Ratanakiri. In Ratanakiri, you will be picked up for transfer to your accomodations.

Day 4: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Ratanakiri – Ta VengRatanakiri in Cambodia

Depart by car North to Ta Veng on the Se San River. From there, begin trekking into the jungles.
Overnight at a tribal village.

Day 5: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Ta Veng – Camping in jungles

Continue trekking through the jungles. Sleep overnight at a jungle camp.

Day 6: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Ta Veng – Ban Lung - Trekking trips

Continue trekking, return to Ta Veng via an alternate route and return to Banlung by car. O/N in Ban Lung

Day 7: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Ban Lung – Stung Treng - Sightseeing packages

Visit Yak Lom Lake in the late morning for a swim and a picnic lunch, then depart to Stung Treng, the town at the confluence of the Mekong and Sekong Rivers, by private car. Accommodation outside of town at a nature lodge. Yak Lom Lake in Ratanakiri provine of CambodiaO/N in Stung Treng

Day 8: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Kayaking on Mekong River

Travel North along the Mekong to the village of O Sway near the Lao border and begin a full-day kayaking trip down river through remote flooded forests of Cambodia's amazing Ramsar Wetlands. Many varieties of birds live in these forests. Picnic lunch en route provided. Return to Stung Treng accommodations in the evening.

Day 9: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Stung Treng - Kratie - Kayaking packages

Depart Stung Treng by mountain bike along a scenic river route heading south through villages and forests, then begin kayaking down the Mekong, stopping en route at sandy river islands and viewing rare freshwater irrawaddy dolphins before enjoying a riverside picnic lunch. Transfer the remaining distance by car to Kratie town.

Day 10: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Kratie – Siem Reap

Travel by private car directly to Siem Reap, stopping en route at Skoun to sample fried tarantulas and have lunch.

Day 11: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Angkor Watt - Sightseeing & Temples exploration

Tour the temples of Angkor Archeological Park by tuk-tuk with an Angkor specialist guide. Visit some of the most important sites including Angkor Thom, Bayon and Preah Khan. End the day with Angkor Wat at sunset.

Day 12: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Angkor Watt - Sightseeing

Visit the outer sites of Siem Reap by private car with a specialist guide. Hike through the jungle up to Kbal Spean where ancient lingas and images can be seen through the clear waters of a mountain stream. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a waterfall before descending the mountain and continuing on to visit the magnificent pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei. Day 13: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Angkor Watt - Sightseeing & boat trips

Tuk-tuk tour with specialist guide. Visit the island temple of Mebon by boat and go for a swim in Angkor's Western Baray, an ancient resevoir stretching for miles through the archeological park. After lunch, visit the terrace of elephants and the terrace of the leper king before climbing aboard an elephant for a ride to the top of Phnom Bakheng Mountain where you will have great views of Angkor Wat to the East and great views of sunset over the Western Baray to the West.

Day 14: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh

Depart Siem Reap for the Tonle Sap Lake, where you will board a boat for the 6 hours trip through the center of the lake and down the Tonle Sap River to Phnom Penh.

Day 15: Cambodia Trekking - Kayaking and Angkor trip; Phnom Penh - Biking

Bicycle tour of the Mekong Islands and the Cambodian countryside, including a visit to a floating village, silk-weaving, a scenic pagoda and a school. Enjoy great views of Phnom Penh from across the Mekong and cycle across two large islands, enjoying a picnic lunch en route. In the evening, enjoy dinner and drinks (provided) as you cruise along the Tonle Sap River on a two-deck cruise boat.
