Day 1: VIETNAM NORTHEAST ADVENTURE TOURS: Arrival - Ha Noi City Tour

 On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you are met by our guide and transferred to hotel. The capital of Vietnam, Hanoi is a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some Asia's most striking colonial architecture. The many lakes and parks make for relaxing atmosphere. Red bridge in Hoan Kiem Lake in Ha noi - VietnamIn this afternoon, we will take a visit to the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam, the History Museum with an excellent collection of artifacts illustrating the Vietnamese history and the outlaying Ethnologic Museum. This gleaming mansion is dedicated to Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. Afterwards we drive back to the town center to visit Ngoc Son Temple & Hoan Kiem Lake

Day 2: VIETNAM NORTHEAST ADVENTURE TOURS: Ha Noi - Thai Nguyen - Travel Adventures to Ba Be Lake  (B/-/D)

Morning, we take a long drive from Hanoi to Ba Be via Thai Nguyen where you visit the Ethnology Museum. After Thai Nguyen, the road is rocky & meandering through scenic landscapes of the north west of Vietnam until Ba Be lakes. On the way to Ba Be Lake, we will have some stopovers for taking photos of remote villages of ethnic people & beautiful valleys.

Day 3: VIETNAM  NORTHEAST ADVENTURE TOURS: Trekking Adventure Tours in Ba Be Lake (B/L/D)

Today, we enjoy a tranquil boat trip downstream Nang River to Ba Be Lake exploring the unspoiled tropical National Park with stop to visit Puong limestone grotto, Dau Dang waterfall. After the picnic lunch, continue by boat to the main lake. Time for contemplating the natural landscapes and swimming before arriving in a Tay people village. Visit the village and experience the local activities. Ba Be lake in Cao Bang Dinner and overnight in Tay village (house on stilts).

 

Day 4: VIETNAM NORTHEAST ADVENTURE TOURS: Ba Be Adventure Trip to Cao Bang (B/-/-)

The boat excursion is a major part of sightseeing in Ba Be. Today we embark our boat navigating around the lake, which gives us a taste of relaxation and an interesting exploration of the tropical forest . This legendary lake is just one continuous water body although its name means "three lakes". Along the way we have several stops to visit the lakeside hill tribe villages and the scenic Dau Dang waterfalls. The traditional boat weaves its way along the tranquil Nang River through the Poung Grotto before reaching Cho Ra. At this small village, we meet up with our waiting vehicle and drive towards Cao Bang past the scenic scenery of rugged mountain.

Day 5: VIETNAM NORTHEAST ADVENTURE TOURS: Cao Bang Adventure Trekking Trips - Ban Gioc Waterfalls - Cao Bang Adventure Tours(B/-/-)

Heading out of the town we venture into the most northern region of Cao Bang Province. The scenic roads traverse Trung Khanh on our way to Ban Gioc Waterfall which boasts the largest waterfall in Vietnam. We visit Ban Gioc waterfall and explore the nearby Nguom Ngao Cave. This enormous cave has two entrances ; one branch reaching almost all the way to the waterfall where is a secret entrance. By mid afternoon we make our way back to Cao Bang and can make stop as much as you please, to see the hill tribe villages and catch some wonderful shootings. Day 6: VIETNAM NORTHEAST ADVENTURE TOURS: Cao Bang Adventure Tours - Pac Po Cave - Lang Son package Tours (B/-/-)

The following stop of our trip is Pac Po Cave. This famous history site was once the headquarter for the August Vietnamese Revolution in 1945. We visit this spectacular setting of stream and cave before we set off on a half day drive past the tranquil town of Dong Khe and That Khe. They are some historical vestiges of the war time. The verdant and rugged mountain landscape with a mixture of terraced rice fields and hill villages is all interesting along the way. We arrive in Lang Son by late afternoon. This border town had been all destroyed during the recent Sino - Vietnamese war, but was rebuilt to become an important trade center in north eastern region. O/N in Lang Son. (B)
 

Day 7: VIETNAM NORTHEAST ADVENTURE TOURS: Lang Son Adventure Tours - Tien Yen - Halong Cruise Tours(B/-/D)

Today we have time to see the lively central market and the legendary Tam Thanh. They are some major sights in town. Upon leaving Lang Son we make our way on a winding roads to Halong Bay and pass the breathtaking landscapes, some of the best in Asia. En route we encounter many local villagers going about their daily business such as logging, herding buffalo and tilling the field. On arrival in Halong Bay we board a traditional boat for a exciting trip around this natural wonder. The sailing junks navigating past over 3,000 limestone islands and outcrops jutting out of the clear and emerald water of the bay are nothing short of spectacular. We have an option to get up early to admire the splendid scenery and see the fishmen on a morning catch. The boat trip continues navigating past islets of various shape and size. They have different name given by local people. This day will give you plenty of time for your own pleasure; swimming or lazing around the deck or simply soaking up the sunshine. By mid morning we arrange luggage and cruise back to the Halong pier. The waiting vehicle will take us back to Hanoi, with stopover at Dong Trieu pottery village.

DAY 1:HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATION: Bac Ha - Lung Phinh - Ta Chai - Pa Chu Ty II (-/L/D)

Pick up at Lao Cai Train station, freshen up, breakfast and then transfer to Bac Ha town let. HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATIONCoffee break and then on to Lung Phin. Trek starts from Lung Phinh along a large path for 1,5 hour to Ta Chai 1 village of the Phu La ethnic, one of the smallest groups in Vietnam with just about 6,500 inhabitants. Paying visit to a local home before lunch break. Continue the trek through a narrow valley with corn fields and terrced rice paddies to Ta Chai 2, another village of the Phu La and then onto Pa Chu Ty, a large village of the Flower H’mong. Explore this village for the rest of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Pa Chu Ty.

DAY 2: HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATION Pa Chu Ty II - Then Van - Lung Cai (B/L/D)

It is interesting day today to trek through the region of the famous H’mong tribal people who are well-known for unique way of living on highest mountain with slash and burn agriculture in the past. Breakfast and depart at 09.00 am. Trekking along a narrow foot path up hills and down narrow valleys for 2 hours to Then Van Village of the H’mong, explore the village, paying visiting to several H’mong families who live in thick clay-walled houses. Continue trekking for nearly 3 hours to Lung Cai, another Flower H’mong village situated on high mountain side and over HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATIONlooking down the Chay River. Walk around the village in late afternoon for discovery the unique way of life. After breakfast at local home stay, the trek today leads through beautiful sightseing on narrow footpath to the H’mong village of Then Van. Discover the daily life of the local people. Continue trekking to Lung Cai – a delightful village located at the moutain side of H’mong area. Welcome for dinner and overnight in home stay.

DAY 3: HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATION Lung Cai - Hoang Nhi Pho - Ban Gia (B/L/D)

Breakfast, walk around the village for watching morning life and leave Lung Cai at 09.00 am. Trekking along the narrow foot path through corn fields and Once leaving Lung Cai, following the trekking route to Hoang Nhi Pho through rice paddy and maize plantations 2 hours to Hoang Nhi Pho hamlet. Paying visiting to some H’mong family here before lunch. Afternoon trek takes almost 3 hours towards Ban Gia Vilage through a very quiet region while the trail winds up and down on steep mountain side, offering stunning scenery of narrow valleys dotted with H’mong houses. Arriving to home stay in mid afternoon, paying visit to the village school and walk around the hamlet, meeting well-coming H’mong peoples. Dinner and home stay in Ban Gia.

DAY 4: HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATION Ban Gia - Nan Ma (B/L/D)

It’s a great days, today for enjoying breath-taking landscapes of the Chay River massif and Ban Gia valley! The trek commences from home-stay along a large path on high mountain side for 2 hours to Khe Phang village and slightly down hill for 1 hour to Nan Ly Village where the H’mong and Mung live together. Paying visiting to local homes, village school and lunch break. Continue trekking about 2 hours through the lush farm land of the Nan Ma Commune in the afternoon and arrive to home stay at the center of the commune in mid afternoon. Walk around the communal center and market place for breathing of local life. Dinner and home stay with a H’mong family.

DAY 5: HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATION Nan Ma – Nan Lung - Coc pu II (B/L/D)

An upstream part of the Chay River where the valley opens wide and prosperous villages with stylish houses on stilts are all featured of today’s tour. Leaving Nan Ma after breakfast, the beautiful trail almost down hill for the whole morning through terraced rice paddies and lush fruit farm to Nan Lung village of the Nung peoples who will be warmly at welcoming visitors with their curiosity at seeing tourists for the first time. Lunch break and then continue along the same trail for nearly 3 hours to Coc Pu II, another village of the Nung for staying overnight.HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATION

DAY 6:HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATION Coc Pu II - Sin Man - Hoang Su Phi (B/L/D)

It is a relaxing day, today. Leave Coc Pu late after breakfast for an easy walk 2 hours to Coc Pai town let of Xin Man District. Walk round the market place for an hour and then transfer by road to Hoang Su Phi. Check in the local hotel, lunch and then free to relax for the rest of the day.

DAY 7: HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATION Hoang Su Phi - Tung San – Hop Nhat (B/L/D)

Breakfast and depart at 08.30 am. Walk along the upstream of the Chay River 5 km to Tan Tien, then follow a foot path winding on mountain side of the Tay Con Linh mountain range gradually uphill for the whole days. Passing and paying visit to villages of the Nung and Zao ethnic peoples. The trek today also offers magnificent scenery of the Tung San Valley which runs from the foot of Tay Con Linh Mountain to the Chay River. Arrive to Hop Nhat village of the Tung San Commune in mid afternoon, explore the village, meeting the Zao Ao Dai(Zao with long dress) and especially contacting the Co Lao peoples, one of the smallest group with only about 1500 individual in Vietnam. Dinner and home stay in a house of a Zao Ao Dai family, Ho Nhat Village.

DAY 8:HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATION Tung san - Dan Khao - Cao Banh (B/L/D)

It is a great day of the trip today! Conquering the second highest mountain range in Vietnam. The Tay Con Linh Mountain range presents challenging to trekkers but at the same time offers probably one of the most magnificent and beautiful landscapes. High mountain, deep valleys with terraced paddies in thousands of shapes, thick forest, waterfalls with charming hamlets of tribal peoples doting here and there. Leaving home stay at 08.30 am. Trekking 3 hours a midst perfect nature surrounding uphill to the pass-top. Lunch break at a narrow passage called Heaven Gate. Descending for the whole afternoon along a larger path, passing through tea plantation and hamlets of the Dan Khao Vilalges where the H’mong and Zao live on highest elevation and the Nung and Tay live on the low land. Arrive to home stay at Cao Banh Village of the Black Zao peoples at about 4. Walk around for contacting locals.

DAY 9: HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATION Cao Banh - Ban Trang - Khuoi Hop - Ha Giang (B/L/-)

The last trekking day with less challenging but no less interesting. Leaving Cao Banh for the trek downhill for almost the whole day along a dirt trail winding on steep mountain side which covered by thick forest and plantation and great view of the large valleys under the foot path with large HA GIANG THE NEW DESTINATIONand prosperous villages of the Tay living in stilt houses. At noon, the trek pass through Ban Trang, another village of the Zao which consist of about 25 houses surrounded by tea farm and palm plantation scattering on hilly land. Lunch break and descending the last portion of the tough trail to arrive to the large valley of Khuoi Hop Village. Paying visiting to the village, meeting the Tay ethnic peoples. Picked up in mid afternoon and transfer to Ha Giang. Enjoying a tip: Freshen up for an hour in the warm mineral water which comes from the hot spring in Thuong Son before arrival to Ha Giang Township. Check in hotel and relax. Dinner tonight is not included.

DAY 1: BIRD WATCHING IN VIETNAM NATIONAL PARKS: Arrival – Ha Noi

DAY 3:BIRD WATCHING IN VIETNAM NATIONAL PARKS: Bird Watching in Cuc Phuong National Park (B/L/D)

Rising this morning with the sounds of the forest all around us, we head out for a trek through the lush rainforest that makes up the park. The trek will take in stops at centuries old giant trees. Picnic lunch in the park before we reach out the Muong minority people at Bong village. Diner and overnight at local home stay of Muong people. During the 20 km journey, view the wide variety of preserved bird species in the park and enjoy the sights and sounds of the jungle. DAY 4: BIRD WATCHING IN VIETNAM NATIONAL PARKS Cuc Phuong National Park– Bird Watching – Hanoi (B/L/D)

Spend another second day bird watching. Start from the Bong Station, then follow a circular route viewing a variety of endangered bird species. The 6-km trail passes through a wood of giant trees, some of which are over 1000 years old. Return to Hanoi. Free. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 5: BIRD WATCHING IN VIETNAM NATIONAL PARKS Hanoi – Ba Vi National Park - Hanoi (B/L/D)

We depart Hanoi at 8: 00 for the one and a half-hour drive to Ba Vi National Park. We will have a three-hour hike through the jungle to visit Ba Vi’s wildlife. The trek will take us deep into the jungles, and we will stop for lunch at a ethnic minority village of the Muong people. After lunch we visit a temple dedicated to the God of the Jungle. There will be time to relax in these tranquil surroundings before starting our journey back to Hanoi. We will be in Hanoi by 18: 00. Overnight BIRD WATCHING IN VIETNAM NATIONAL PARKSin Hanoi.

DAY 6: BIRD WATCHING IN VIETNAM NATIONAL PARKS Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

07: 30 - 08: 15 Shuttle bus pick you up at your hotel for the 3.5 hr drive (165km) to Halong City. 12: 00 Board Halong Phoenix Cruiser. Lunch and a welcome drink are served while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape. You will see Dog Rock and Incense Burner Rocks, as well as Fighting Cock Rock before heading to Sung Sot Cave (Cave of Surprises). Later, we stop at a floating house owned by fishermen before kayaking to Luon Cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay. After returning to the boat, we will anchor in a safe and scenic location for seasonal fruits and a visit to the “ Floating Garden ”. Dinner is served onboard and then you will have free time to listen to music, relax under the stars.

DAY 7: BIRD WATCHING IN VIETNAM NATIONAL PARKS Halong - Catba (B/L/D)

7: 30 Breakfast is served onboard. Afterwards, as the boat heads for the other side of the bay, you will have the opportunity of visiting Van Gia- Halong's largest floating village. After breakfast, we take a local wooden boat back to the Junk for our return to Halong City. Enroute there will be time to view more beautiful limestone islands- have your camera ready for some beautiful shots! 11: 30 Halong Phoenix Cruiser arrives at the dock for lunch in a restaurant before returning to Hanoi. Continue to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Morning: Pick you up at your hotel at 6: 30 am, we will transfer to Tram Chim National Park, on the way we will stop for breakfast, expected arrive about 10: 00 am. Check in, take a rest then lunch. Lunch in local restaurant. After lunch we drive to the famous Cu Chi underground tunnel system to experience how the Viet Cong lived and fought during the American War. Back to Saigon in the afternoon.

Leave Saigon for Cat Tien National Park in the morning. The terrain rises up gradually via volcanic area. On arrival, we cross Dong Nai River to the park center. We meet the forest ranger and start trek 15km to Crocodile Lake Station where we have dinner and stay overnight. From 20.00 to 22.00 we can spot animals from rangers watch tower. *Note: check with your guide for using THE RHYTHM OF VIETNAM NATIONAL PARKSboat to discover the lake, there are crocodiles in the lake.

Day 5: THE RHYTHM OF VIETNAM NATIONAL PARKS: Nam Cat Tien – Saigon

Breakfast at the Crocodile Lake Station. Start our hard trek 15km through jungle to Dat Do Ranger Station. A great day for bird watching. Picnic lunch en route. Upon arrival at Dat Do Ranger Station we have a short rest. Jeep 4wd pick up at the ranger station and transfer 20km back to the park center. This is route of buffer zone along Dong Nai River where Chau Ma and Stieng ethnic minority cultivate and settle their villages centuries ago. 15.00 back to the park center. We leave Cat Tien National Park for Saigon. Trip completes in Saigon.

On arrival in Danang we take a bus ride to the ancient town of Hoian. We will check in a resort on the beach and spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach. In the evening we take a walk in the illustrated ancient part of Hoian and have dinner with local delights. Overnight in Hoian.

After breakfast in the hotel we drive north to Bach Ma National Park, which is located in the mid way from Hoian to Hue. Upon arrival at the park we visit the visitor centre take a jeep ride up to the centre of the park where we have lunch in the restaurant of the park. After lunch we embark on a beautiful jungle trek. We will walk on animal trails and listen to bird songs and see beautiful water falls. After the trek we take a great jeep ride to the summit of the mountain for watching sunset and panorama view of the park. Dinner and overnight in Bach Ma resort in the park. Short trek in the morning following jungle trails. If we are lucky we would see animals seeking food. Breakfast at the campsite. We leave Bach Ma National Park at 10 am driving to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue we check in hotel and have lunch in local restaurant. In the afternoon we visit to Imperial Citadel, which is a walled fortress and was intended to be a copy of Chinese Emperors’ Forbidden City in Beijing. After the trip we transfer back to hotel. After the pagoda we continue cruising on the river to reach the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, with its lotus-filled lake and central pavilion and the simple and serene Tomb of Khai Dinh. Arrive in Hanoi in early morning. Picked up at Hanoi Railway Station and transferred to Ninh Binh which is 100km south of Hanoi. Upon arrival in Ninh Binh we have breakfast in local restaurant and continue to Cuc Phuong National Park. We will visit to Primate Rescued Centre where we meet the park’s rangers and learn about different kinds of monkey, gibbon and langur in Vietnam. We continue to Bong, the centre of the park, where we start our jungle trek. We will have picnic lunch in the park under the shade of a giant tree. This jungle trek ends in the afternoon when we reach Khanh Village, home of Muong ethnic minority. Tonight we will have dinner and overnight in THE RHYTHM OF VIETNAM NATIONAL PARKSa traditional house-on-stilt of a Muong family.

Breakfast in the village before we head to Tam Coc, also known as Halong Bay on the rice field thanks to its stunning rock formations emerging on river and rice field similer to Halong Bay. We will take a relaxing rowing boat trip on river to see caves and impressive scenery. Lunch in local restaurant in Tam Coc before we drive to Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam, which dates from 9th century. Visit to temples and walk hundred steps up to top of a mountain for a panorama view of the old capital. Drive back to Hanoi. Check in hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

We first descend the valley on tarmac then hit a beautiful dirt path which runs through rice terraces and minority villages. We will have a break in Lao Chai Village to visit the church and the school of this H'mong village. Continue to Ta Van village, home of Dzay people, where we spend our night in a local house. Dinner in the home stay.

After cruising through a maze of karst towers you will arrive at the secluded and uninhabited Moody Island beach with sea water caressing two shorelines beneath a massive limestone cliff. You're certified climbing guides will outfit you with safe and comfortable UIAA standard climbing harnesses and rock climbing gear. After brief instruction your guides will set up top-rope systems on a variety of different routes so that you may ascend the rock face safely and worry free. With the coaching of our experienced guides, climb as high as you  will like overlooking the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay and enjoy a spectacular view unlike any other.
